Conference Overview
The ABC Youth Chapter proudly offers a one day conference titled "Empowering the Youth of Today". The conference will offer participating youth delegates the opportunity to expand their social network, understand the transformative role of various cultures in Canada, gain valuable management and leadership skills, dialogue with peers about the social and political issues of the day and cultivate skills necessary to be successful in their academic and professional careers.
Conference Objective
The conference objectives are consistent with
United Nation's role to promote youth development in areas of cultural diversity, empowerment and participation through education and communication at all levels.
Conference speakers will delve into best practices that empower the youth to manage themselves as well as overcome challenges at various points in their life. Participating delegates will be able to envision their career path and pose pertinent issues that will provide an enlightening perspective in context of a multi–cultural society and its transformation.
What will delegates get from this Conference ?
The delegates will interact with speakers who have achieved tremendous success in their own profession in Canada. They will also take part and be a full participant in topics of current interest and issues pertinent to Multi Cultural youths and young professionals of today. They will meet delegates from diverse background and cultures but still sharing similar thoughts and issues.
